Baby Rendez-Vous is the brainchild of two friends who met as toddlers in an inner London playgroup in 1979. Naomi Braddick, a freelance TV producer, and Liane Katz, a Guardian journalist and former Travel editor, now live on opposite sides of London and struggle to meet in the middle with their kids.
Baby Rendez-Vous aims to open up London for the carers of under-fives, by gathering the detailed information you need before setting out on public transport with buggies and bags in tow. For example, where can you meet if you’re looking for a spot of culture, affordable food, outdoor spaces or free activities? How can you get there with step-free access? Where can your toddler let off steam after an Oxford Street shopping trip? Where is suitable for a two year old – and their baby sister?
All our recommended meeting points are tested by us or our close friends and family so you can be confident they’ve been buggy and toddler stress-tested!
We’d love to hear from you – whether you have a destination to recommend, an update to opening hours or a suggested enhancement to the site. For now, please get in touch via twitter – @LianeKatz
